We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how 3D-sidekick application handles user data.
We do not collect any personal information.
The App does not require users to register, log in, or provide any identifying information such as names, email addresses, or phone numbers.
3D Scans and Sensitive Data
Scans are captured using Apple’s TrueDepth camera and/or Structure Sensor to generate 3D mesh models (e.g., OBJ, STL).
These scans remain stored locally on your device and are never automatically uploaded to any server.
You may choose to export scans to destinations of your choice, including third-party systems.
Any documents or images you attach to scans remain on your device or you can export/delete them with the scan file.
Camera and Device Access
The App requests access to:
Your device’s camera (for 3D scanning)
Your photo library or file system (to attach documents or images)
Access is only used to provide core functionality. You may revoke permissions at any time via your device settings.
The app integrates with the following third-party services:
Structure SDK – used to enable 3D scanning functionality.
Google Analytics – used for anonymous usage statistics.
Crashlytics – used for crash reporting and app stability improvements.
We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect anonymized crash logs and performance data (such as device type, operating system version, and app state) to help us monitor and improve app stability. These logs are retained for 90 days in accordance with Firebase’s privacy policy. Crash reports do not contain any scan content or personally identifiable information.
As we do not collect or store your data on external servers, we do not process your information. All actions (scanning, storing, exporting) occur locally on your device.
The App does not collect or process personal information under GDPR, PIPEDA, or other data protection laws. However, by using the App's scanning and export features, you consent to the use of your device's hardware solely for the purposes described above.

Although we do not store your data, we recommend:
Securing your device with a passcode or biometric lock.
Using encrypted export methods if transmitting sensitive medical data.
Since we do not collect or retain data, there is no personal information stored that we can modify, retrieve, or delete on your behalf. You have full control of your data on your own device.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our app or relevant regulations. Updates will be posted within the app or on our official website.
